gold is an element which is inert in nature and will not react with any other substance hence will not loosei its shine nor its colour do jewllery are made out of gold

Because iron caught in rusting when come in the contect of water,acid or moisture.That is why jewellery is made up of gold and silver. They may not caught in rusting when come in contect with water or moisture.
