Why Kashmir people fight for freedom? They have complete freedom. Only terrorists makes that place bad. We all want to destroy terrorist. Indian army is super powerful. If Kashmir gets divided from India, terrorists will kill everyone and will make it terrorist place. But why the local people fight against the nation?

Kasmiri’s are one bunch of misguided lot who does not know what is good or bad from them. If they want freedom from India, being a 21st century Indian, I would be happy and would be in favor of granting them that freedom. By this way they will able to save themselves from the Indian Atrocities and in return, we Indians will save much more. How? lets evaluate below.

There are three regions of J&K state, or whatever is left of it, which are under control of India

Kashmir Valley - Its mostly Hilly forest area with predominantly Muslim population .
Jammu - It is also hilly area with some plains . Inhabited by mostly Hindu and Sikh population.
Leh and Ladakh - Hilly desert area with Budhist population of Tibetan descended .
The only way , You Kashmiris can get so called Independence is by Referendum : In J&K , the main region asking independence from India is Kashmir valley. They are the most restive and easily instigated by separists and Pakistanis. Kashmir valley has more than 50% of J&K population so they have the numbers to tilt referendum in their favor. If POK will also be allowed to participate in referendum then Pakistan will try to rig it in POK and then it will be certain that referendum will be against India.

Here's your answer-------------

The people of Kashmir, don't fight, there are just some of the terrorist behind that. They pressurize the local people to have Kashmir as a independent nation.

And some want it to be in Pakistan but local people of that place doesn't support that, and that's why demands field separation.
