Why kerela receives long rainfall? Give reason...

Yet Kerala is bestowed with pleasant rainfall throughout the year. This is because of its nearness to the sea and the presence of Western Ghats on the east . It would have been a dry land dye to dry winds blowing from north but the western ghats prevent these winds from entering the state.
