Why kerosene oil is only used to protect the potassium and sodium and to prevent accidental fibres? why not other oils.

because kerosene do not reacts with pottasium and sodium at room temp

kerosene oil is a covalent compound and is neutral in nature and less reactive so it doesn't react with sodium and doesnot catch fire.
