Why kerosene oil is only used to protect the potassium and sodium and to prevent accidental fibres? why not other oils.​

because kerosene do not reacts with pottasium and sodium at room temp

kerosene oil is a covalent compound and is neutral in nature and less reactive so it doesn't react with sodium and doesnot catch fire.
