Why kirchhoff's laws are not valid for distributed parameters?

Answer:

Kichhoff's laws are conservation of energy, they can never fail. In distributed systems, however, the analysis makes more sense with inclusion of skin effect and characteristic impedance as signal being carried is not of the same nature as that in lumped parameter circuits.
