Hello friend
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Laser light is called coherent. This means that the photons go in a uniform order.
Each photon follows what the next one does, that is why laser light comes out as a straight line.
Also because of the uniformity of laser light, the energy of a beam of laser light is generally much higher than that of normal light.

Hope it will help you
thanks.

ordinary light spreads it's light all around in an area but laser light travels in a straight line in one particular desired direction so it makes the study of light much easier.
laser light is stronger than the ordinary light as it is condensed to a limited small area.
laser light can travel longer distance than the ordinary light with same energy.
