leguminous plant maintain a low concentration of oxgyen in their root because plants need nitrogen in the roots. and they take Help of some bacteria like rhizobium and azotobacter , NITROBACTER.. and they help in nitrogen fixation.plants give shelter to these bacteria. so this is called symbosis relationship.
