Why lemon juice should not be contained in a metal container write related word equation?

Lemon juice should not be kept in metallic container such as copper utensils etc because it contains a citric acid which when combined with metal reacts and forms a poisonous form of source. This source is very poisonous if consumed...

So it is always suggested to store the natural acids like curd, vinegar, lemon juice, in non metallic utensils like steel and aluminum...

We know that acids reacts with the metals .

Lemon juice is acidic as it contain citric acid , therefore when it's kept in iron container it may react with it and form toxic substances .

Therefore , it's advised to not to keep lemon juice in iron container .
