Sugar does not conduct electricitybecause it is an organic compoundand covalent in nature, it does notcontain ions while the electricity is conducted by ions only so, in saltsolution the ions are found whichconduct electricity but in sugar solutions the ions are not found andso they do not conduct electricity.
