WHY LIQUID NITROGEN IS USED TO PRESERVE CORNEA OF EYE AND BLOOD??

Answer:

The cornea in the anti-freezing agent is kept in liquid nitrogen. The low temperature of liquid nitrogen prevents degeneration of the cornea tissue. This way the cornea is kept viable until transplantation is done.
