All machines are made up of metals. All metals are coated by zinc(Galvanisation). After sometime, the zinc coat gets removed when we do not clean the cycle and it hardens. We do not see it instantly but it happens everyday. When oil is poured on the rust, it loosens and makes it easy for the cleaner to clean the rust
