why magnetic poles cannot be seperated???

The poles of a magnet can beseparated, it's just that when you cut the north and south poles apart from each other, both of the broken magnetpieces will sprout opposite poles at each of the broken ends. ... Magneticfields flow from the north pole to the south pole.
