The value of magnetic quantum number is pz and dz is 1 and 2 repectively not zero.

In py and dzx the value of magnetic quantum number is zero.

you can verify it with the help of formula m = 2l + 1

for p subshell the value of l is 1 and the value of m ranges from -l to +l

here
m = 2*1 + 1
m = 3

it means for the p subshell there are three value of m and the value of m moves from -1 to +1 (means -l to +l)

so the value of m are -1, 0, +1
that is
px = -1
py = 0
pz = +1

same as for d subshell
the value of l is 2 so
there are 5 values of m ranges from -2 to +2

dxy = -2
dyz = -1
dzx = 0
dx^2y^2 = +1
dz^2 = +2

hope it helps.

:-)
