Why mahatma gandhi give his surname to feroz jahangir ghandy?

Feroze was son of Jehangir Khan , a Muslim small time shop keeper in Allahabad. They were of grocers to Nehru Family. After Jehangir Khan's untimely death , the widow got married to a Parsi having surname Ghandy , not Gandhi. Parsis have no Gandhi surname. These are recorded fact and nothing, as such, wrong to marry son of a Muslim man . It was a ploy of Congress to use MK Gandhi's name and save Nehru's face . Feroze was never accepted by Nehru and Indira got separated after Rajiv's Birth. And today we have so called Nehru- Gandhi Family ruling us for many decades!
