Why male reproductive system is called as urinogental system

The male reproductive system is closely intertwined with the urinary system, both functionally and anatomically. So close is this relationship that the male reproductive system is often referred to jointly as the urinogenital system.

Male reproductive system and urinary  system are together called urinogenital system. The urinary system and reproductive system in males are often studied together since some the structures (like urethra) are common to both the systems. Hence both the systems collectively called urinogenital​ system.
