• sutable for cross pollination.

• well defined characters .

There were following reasons ,he shown on Pea plants and took for experiments -
° Pea plants are Unisexual [ it means it can cross pollinate easily ]
° Peas are very adapted that it can germinate easily
°It has best characteristics also that it's annual season plant
