Why mercury is not an exceptionin metals in sonorous property of metals, as it is in liquid form?

Good question!.. The answer is..
Though mercury being a liquid is not an exception in metals to the property of sonority..this is bcz mercury is liquid at external temperature but can be brought to solid at room temperature..
U may notice that a piece of ceasium which is the same as mercury will melt in your palm but at room temperature will again turn into solid..
Nextly it has the property of producing a sound and getting heated..
