Why metalware ductile but non_metals are not????

The ductility is the property of being able to be drawn into wires. Most metals are ductile because they can be drawn into wires, but as most non-metals are brittle, they are not ductile and cannot be drawn into wires.
There are, of course, some exceptions and some metals may be non-ductile and some non-metals may be ductile.
