Why methyl chloride hydrolised better than benzene chloride?

The alone pair of chlorine atom is delocalised over the conjugate double bond ring of benzene which adds a double bond character to the C-Cl bond of chlorobenzene which makes the bond shorter and stronger.so the hydrolysisbecomes difficult while in alkly halides i.emethyl chloride ,there is a single bond and polarity
