why meting point of d block elements is higher than s block elements?​

Answer:

S block element have only one or two electron in their outermost orbit which goes for delocalization and make matalic bond between atoms. D block elements have more than 2 electron that goes for delocalization as electron in D sub-shell too goes for delocalization because D sub-shell are less stable than previous shell.

More the electron goes for delocalizaion, more will be the compactness among atoms due to loss of shell and increase in nuclear charge.

Across the period, Atomic number increases so do atomic mass too increases which make metal strongly bonded that require more energy to break.

That is why D block element have more boiling point than S block element.
