why Mn have low melting point though it contains 5unpaired electrons.

Reasons for low melting point of manganese:-
1:Size is small and smaller atoms have lowere melting point
2:As its electron gain entha lot is less
3:In transition seriesThe no. Of unpaired electrons increases Till the middle of the series n then decreases. Like wise melting points also decreases
