Why moon cannot be used as a communication satellite?

If you want to ask y can't we keep some towers on moon to telecast or communicate??
We already have something called an artificial satellite to do that job for us
And usually communication satellites must only be a hundred Kms above the earth's surface but as the moon is so far away we may not get communication as instantly as we are getting now!!
