Why moon is called nonluminous body?

Because moon alone cannot sign or cannot give light it always the light from sun and then it reflects back to earth

Moon is a non luminous body...

It's because Moon can't emit light by itself...

It just reflects the light emitted by the sun...

Since, it doesn't have ability to produce light and emit... it's called as non luminous body...
