why moon takes same time to complete one rotation and revolution around the earth?

Because the distance covered by the mean never changes. It remains constant because of the force of attraction between the earth and moon. Using Newton's law of gravitation, the force remains the same since mass of earth and moon and radius (distance between the two) are constants. Hence, the distance does not change and it takes the same time
