why morality is needed
Answers
Moral values are important in life because: If a person has never learned about moral values then how can he/she decide between the good and the bad. Moral values reflect an individual's character and spirituality. They help in building good relationships in personal as well as professional lives.
It's because morals are guidelines. They don't force people to do something. The only morals people have are the ones they believe in, and won't let go of so easily. Looking from a financial and efficiency perspective , because morals don't need enforcement, they are the perfect means for a society to economically attain it's objectives. So if that is true, why doesn't everyone have them already? People like to choose the easy way out. They give themselves excuses so that they can do something which is "not morally correct yet effective" because "everyone else does it too", while the reality is that they just need instant gratification.
