Why more and more countries are becoming democratic reason?

Democracy is very appropriate form of government and very fair.
1)There is no hereditary system anyone can contest for election but must be 18 nd citizen of country
2)democracy follows adult franchise that is everyone above 18 can vote in elections
3)there are elections on regular intervals so that if citizens are not happy with government's work thn they can remove in nxt election
4)democracy is purest form of government where there is very less chances of monopoly
5)no is discriminated for giving vote whether he or she is frm rich background or from poor whether black or white it's totally free of these evils
