This is the answer from parents point of view:

First, it is a short career. Once you reach about 28 years old, you are a "has been". You will be replaced by younger people. Do you want a career which lasts only a few years?

Secondly, you must always exercise and watch what you eat. You never get a day off from exercising and dieting.

Thirdly, it is a highly competitive business. If you want to be a cover girl, you have to compete with 500 - 800 other girls. Once the photo shoot is over, you're unemployed again. Do you want to spend most of your time looking for jobs which last only 2 or 3 days?

Modeling is a fleeting career that isn't promised...family (most times anyway) is forever.
