why NaCl and MgO2 have defferent in mp. instead they both have identical structure ? plz help me annyone

Answer:mgo2 is having higher melting point

Explanation:as mg is having 2+ charge and o is having 2- charge. So they are having high lattice energy. So melting point is high.
