> conduction of electricity requires movement of charged particles, presence of free ions conducts electricity, hence Nacl in liquid state conducts electricity
>Nacl in solid state do not conduct electricity because movement of ions is not possible due to the rigid structure

when NaCl ( sodium chloride ) is at liquid state it cannot electricity as its valence shells are completely filled.
but when it is in liquid state the its both the elements are in separate form and thus, they allows the passage for electrons.
hence, sodium chloride can conduct electricity only in liquid state.
