because the angel of land and nail make 90 degree angel and in 90degree angel the nail goes inside the surface that is why nail can atand on flat surface we can take the ex of camel and sand legs of cael can not make the angle of 90 degree between sand and legs that is why they can easily moves on sand at desrt
