Nathuram Godse. Nathuram VinayakGodse (19 May 1910 – 15 November 1949) was a right-wing advocate of Hindu nationalism who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi in New Delhi on 30 January 1948. He shot Gandhi in the chest three times at point-blank range.

He killed Gandhiji that he was the one and only person who was responsible for the division between Pakistan and India.
