Why neiosis in female is different from thqt of male?

In sexual reproduction, both the maleand the female gametes unite to form offspring. In human males, meiosisoccurs in the seminiferous tubules of the testicles while in females, it occurs in cells called as oogonia. In males,meiosis occurs at puberty while infemales it occurs right at birth.
