Isaac Newton , one of greatest minds ever on the planet , He invented calculus for simplicity of calculations. When he was stuck in the equation of physics...the problem was that , the change in time was so small that it can't be calculated easily...But one day , He found the method to solve those type of equation...and He was also included those equations in his famous book "\small\bold{Principia\: of\: Mathematicia}"

And later on they called them "Calculus".

ANSWER___(◍•ᴗ•◍)

The calculus- controversy was an argument between 17th century mathematicians Issac Newton and Gottfried Leibniz, over who had first invented calculus.

The controversy was over whether Leibniz had discovered calculus independently of Newton, or whether he had merely invented another notation for ideas that were fundamentally Newton's.
In the year 1715, just one year before the death of Leibniz, the Royal society handed down their Verdict crediting Sir Issac Newton with the discovery of calculus. At the same time, they also held Leibniz guilty of plagiarism. Despite the ruling of the Royal society, what is important to keep in perspective is that no matter who actually discovered calculus first, both Newton and and Leibniz made great contribution to the advancement of mathematical processes and both deserve credit for that.
