Electrophiles are the atoms which have an affinity to gain electrons.

NF3 acts as an electrophile because -

-F as a very high electronegativity.

-Even though there is a lone pair present of N, but if its donates it and develops a positive charge it will attract F.

-This will destabilize the molecule.

Answer:

NF3 is a nucleophile because flourine is the most electronegative and it has great tendency to attract nitrogen's electrons. Therefore , if nitrogen donates its lone pair then it will develope a positive charge and hence it will be called nucleophile and it will then also be e deficient which will make it an electrophile . Hence , NF3  can be called both  an electrophile and nucleophile
