Half filled configuration in Nitrogen has gives stability to it, thus its electron affinity is Zero. Electron affinity of Nitrogen is zero due to its half-filled configuration of 2p-orbital, which gives stability to it.

Since the electronic configuration of nitrogen is 2s2 2p3, it has a half filled p shell which is a stable configuration. Thus, it has a relatively low tendency to gain or lose electrons and its electron gain enthalpy is zero.

Hope you understand.
