why nitrogen is more electron-negative than phosphorus?

Phosphorus has a larger atomic radius than nitrogen, so the distance between the nucleus and the bonding electrons is larger. This reduces the attraction and hence electronegativity. Due to small size…………The more electronegative elements are FON-floriene, oxygen,and nitrogen.
