why no food is absorbed in the stomach

no food is absorbed in stomach as
stomach is the main part of digestion and food is
broken down into smaller particles that can be
absorbed by body, but all food can be absorbed
only by intestines and not by stomach. stomach
just acts as an organ that breaks down food into
smaller pieces
