The force isn`t required as when an object is set in motion it continues with same velocity in same direction as it stays in inertia of motion.

Exception : Unless an until an external force is applied.

Answer:

When we move an object with constant velocity, it's velocity doesn't change and the acceleration will be zero. That is why no force is required to move the object.

Hope it helps u :)
