Why no of sea ports is more on west coast than east coasts in india?

Because(I) the sea is deaper in West coast than in East coast.

(II) West rivers form esturies while east rivers form deltas. Therefore it becomes difficult for the ships to reach the east coast which is covered with sediments.

(III) therefore West coast have favourable condition for natural harbour.
