why not planets gets attracted to each other​

Explanation:

1.) If u take the the case of our own solar system , the planets do not get attracted towards Each Other because , the sun's gravity is exponentially bigger than the gravity of the planets . the planets are attracted towards the sun not each other (provided that the mass of the sun is grater than the mass of the planets ).

2.) second is how close they are to each other , take the case of earth and moon , moon is surely attracted to the sun what is also influenced by the earth's gravity .(fun fact the moon moves away from the Earth as much as 4 cm per year ).
