Why not the alpha particles bombarded by rutherford on the gold foil stuck with the electrons?? As electrons r negetivly charged and alpha particles r positively charged. And what happens when it come face to face with the electron??

Electron have a very negligible mass as compared to that of the alpha particles. Being positively charged, the alpha particles did not get repelled by the electrons which are negatively charged. Hence the alpha particles went through the electrons without being repelled as well as stuck!
