BOHR'S POSTULATES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1) The electrons revolve around the nucleus in stationary orbits of fix energy.
2) As long as an electron is present in a stationary orbit, it does not emit or absorb any radiations i.e. it does'nt follow the classical theory of electromagnetism of maxwell.
3) The angular momentum of the orbit in which electron revolves, is an integral multiple of h/2π.
MATHEMATICALLY, MVR = nh/2π
where n is an integer.
4) The electron emits or absorbs energy only when it undergoes transition.
5) The energy emitted or absorbed by electron during transition is equal to the energy difference between the two levels in which transition has occured.
