I think this is more a matter of taste perceptions skewed by the modern food industry, and in particular the U.S. food industry -- combined with misinformation of what is and isn't healthy. The following are foods that are, in fact, perfectly healthy and (IMO) tasty:

a)Steak (grass-fed, pastured beef)
b)Sushi
c)Butter
d)Coconuts
e)Grilled, roasted or stir-fried fresh vegetables of all sortsCream (again, from grass-fed, pastured cows)
f)Pork produced from humanely raised pigs, including naturally cured and smoked meats like bacon.
g)Avocados
h)Most types of fish
i)Shellfish
j)Roasted sweet potatoes
k)Fresh fruits in general

To a certain extent, however, many Americans have had their tastes warped by diets largely consisting of processed foods, which contain abnormally high levels of sugar, salt, and chemical flavorings not found in nature.
