why our socaity love male child than girl child

our society loves the male children than that of the girl children because male children remains as the successor of their family where as the girl children had to go to her husband's home after her marriage. And as a result there will be no successor of that family.

If a family only has a daughter, the family name will die out. Also, a son can be an heir to the father. In many countries, a daughter cannot do this.N moreover the daughter finally has 2 go 2 his husband's house n has 2 leave her parents n thus there will be no successor....
