I think our surroundings 'must' be free from stagnant water....this is because stagnant water is home for many disease causing organismss....stagnant water is breeding ground for mosquitoes , insects ,etc....these insects cause diseases such as typhoid, cholera,malaria,dengue,etc....so one should take proper precautions for it....

diseases and a breeding site for mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are vectors for many diseases such as malaria, dengue, etc. and flourish in stagnant water. Hence, our surroundings should be free of stagnant water.
