Why oxalic acid is heated in redox titration?

Here the temperature input is limited by an undesirable side reaction. Oxalic acid solution is heated before titrationwith KMnO4 solution because Thisreaction happens only in certain temperature. ... And oxalic acid is not a strong acid.
