why oxygen is more important as compared to nitrogen and other gas ?


snawaj66: Most living things need Nitrogen, but don't necessarily need Oxygen. Plants for example need nitrogen, and only a few require oxygen. Without nitrogen, human's could not have developed into large animals because of a lack of protein.

five minutes without oxygen can damage your brain.
Trees are the only organisms that use carbon dioxide during photosynthesis.
