Why p-methylaniline is more basic than p-nitroaniline?

because of presence of nitro group that means lone pair present... .....therefore more electrophilic..... ch3<no2

p-methylaniline is more basic because methyl group shows +I effect i.e electron donating group. More will be +I effect more will be the basic character. But NO2 shows -I effect i.e electron withdrawing group.
Thats why p methylaniline is more basic than
p nitroaniline .
