Why paddy cannot be grown in WINTER season​

  • Paddy is a kharif crop which is sown in rainy season
  • It requires lots of water for its growth
  • During winter large amount of water is not available.
  • due to unavailability of sufficient water and unfavourable climatic conditions paddy should not be grown in the winter season.
