Why PCL5 is known but not NCL5 is known???

Answer:

Phosphorus contain vacant d orbitals in which electron can enter in the excited state and hence increase the oxidation state. But n does not contain vacant d orbitals. That's why PCl5 is known but not NCl5 is known.
